- Place the gel pack inside The Hug Cover before applying to your body.
Important Things to Know
Hot water can produce a higher gel temperature than expected. Always remove the water from the heat source before placing your Hug into the water.
After heating, allow the gel pack to settle before use. The gel can continue to warm internally for a short time after being removed from the water.
Skin sensitivity to heat varies from person to person and can change when you are experiencing pain, injury, illness, or inflammation.
If your skin tingles, stings, feels uncomfortable, or feels too warm at any stage, remove The Hug and allow it to cool before reapplying.
The Hug should feel comfortably warm, never hot.
